Experience in government communication, international affairs, public diplomacy and advocacy, with additional interests in culture, music, media.

On October 1st, 2019, I joined the Joint Baltic American National Committee (JBANC), as part of my Baltic-American Freedom Foundation (BAFF) Scholarship. Previously, have gained experience in the public sector and media, including work at the State Chancellery of Latvia, where I was involved in various communication campaigns, for instance, promotion of media literacy and whistle-blower protection legislation.

Before moving to Washington, DC, I worked at the European Commission Representation in Latvia, focusing on digital communication. I hold a master’s degree in politics from University of Latvia, with additional study experience in France and Belgium.
